Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the order, and the final amount is due BEFORE pick up. If the order is cancelled by the customer, the deposit is not refunded. 

No refunds. All design questions are asked in the initial request, if there is anything specific you would like or would not like, please disclose it at the time of order. Orders are designed based on the information you give at the time of order. 

Order forfeit:

If orders are not picked up by end of hours on pick up date you will have 24 hours to notify The Sweet Spot if you would still like your order. If no contact is made in the 24 hours, products will be resold and no refund will be given.

Pick Up Times & Order Changes

Pick up times must be determined at time of order IF pick up time is outside of the designated pick up time frame (Fridays after 3pm). Times or days cannot be changed week of as orders are being finalized all the way until pick up times. Order changes must also be completed prior to the week of the order. If order changes are beyond color/shape, they may require additional costs

Q: How far in advance do you require orders be placed?

A: I require AT LEAST a 2-week notice for orders, but the earlier the better. If by chance an order can be taken within the 2-week timeframe, a 25% fee will apply.

Q: What do your cookies taste like?

A: My cookies aren't your average sugar cookie! They're a soft bite sugar cookie, thats a cross between regular sugar, and a butter cookie! They're buttery, and sweet, and soft, and the icing gives them a little extra flavor!

Q: How do I place an order?

A: To place an order please message The Sweet Spot with the desired treat, the date needed, and any details you have in mind including amount/size, flavor, color scheme, etc. Please also include an email address as this is how my invoices are sent. Once a deposit has been made, the order will be confirmed and will go into the book. If the deposit is not paid within 3 business days, the spot will be given to someone else.

Q: When do I pick up my order?

A: Order pick ups are ALWAYS Friday afternoons after 3pm. If you need a different time or day, please specify at the time of order, or I will assume that you are okay with the normal time.

Q: I messaged you about a custom order, when should I expect to hear back?

A: As a one person business, I wear all the hats. Which means I not only answer the messages, and design the sets, but I'm also the one baking and decorating. This means I can get pretty busy at times and it can take me up to a few days to respond during busy seasons. This is also why it is easier for me if you have more info at time of order, as it streamlines the process and means I can take your order and design it much more quickly. Please be patient with me and I promise I will get to you as soon as possible.

Q: Do you ship?

A: I currently do not ship, however the cookies do ship great! They just need to be individually packaged, and bubble-wrapped. You can absolutely buy a set and send them to a family member or friend and they'll make it there in perfect shape!
